As companies and consumers rush to figure just what artificial intelligence (AI) applications can do, J. P. Singh is more concerned about how these technologies are created. A Distinguished University Professor with Mason’s Schar School of Policy and Government and codirector of Mason’s Center for Advancing Human-Machine Partnership (CAHMP), Singh’s research focuses on how cultural preferences can shape both global policy and technology.
